Jennifer Aniston Takes on Bill O'Reilly on Single Motherhood Debate
Aniston told People, "Of course, the ideal scenario for parenting is obviously two parents of a mature age. Parenting is one of the hardest jobs on earth…and, of course, many women dream of finding Prince Charming (with fatherly instincts), but for those who've not yet found their Bill O'Reilly, I'm just glad science has provided a few other options."
O'Reilly took Aniston to task recently over comments she made in defense of single motherhood while promoting her new film 'The Switch,' in which she plays a woman who uses a sperm donor to become pregnant.
The actress told reporters, "Women are realizing it more and more, knowing that they don't have to settle with a man just to have that child … Love is love and family is what is around you and who is in your immediate sphere." The comment sparked O'Reilly to discuss the comments on his show, calling Aniston's words "destructive to our society."
