Is Lindsay Lohan Getting an Early Release from Rehab?
"My understanding from conversations with [Lohan's attorney] Shawn Chapman Holley is that Miss Lohan could be released early from the treatment facility. It is looking as if that is what the health care professionals are going to recommend," says Meyers.
"How much earlier she could be released I'm unsure of at this point. I will follow what the health care professional advise. That could involve follow-up treatment for Miss Lohan. However, it is my understanding that it is looking like the health care professionals will be recommending that she be released earlier than the 90 days Judge Revel previously ordered."
Earlier this week, Holley told ET, "Ms. Lohan is doing very well [in rehab]" and remarked that Lohan was "surprised" at the news that Judge Marsha Revel had voluntarily removed herself from her case, adding, "Ms. Lohan will continue to comply with the court's orders whether it's from Judge Revel, or Judge Fox."
Lohan began court-ordered treatment in rehab immediately following her August 2 release from behind bars for a violation of her probation tied to a 2007 DUI.
