In the Forrester Estate yard, Oliver and Brooke begged Hope to forgive them, but she wasn't sure that she could after they'd betrayed her. Brooke asked what she could do to help; Hope noted that there's no way she could make the pain go away.
Brooke asked her daughter to come home and promised to give her space, but Hope replied that she couldn't be around her mother. Hope admitted that whenever she gets close to Oliver, she sees an image of him and Brooke kissing and being together. She asked Oliver to look into her eyes and then Brooke's, and noted that they have different color eyes. She couldn't understand how Oliver could've confused her and her mother. Oliver asked how they could fix it. "I don't think you can," Hope sighed and planned to start a new life for herself free of scandal. Hope went inside with Oliver calling after her.
Meanwhile, Taylor urged Stephanie to let them work everything out on their own. Stephanie thought that the only solution for Hope is to get as far away from Brooke as possible and refused to let Brooke ruin the teen's life. Taylor disagreed and thought that it was up to Hope to decide what she wants to do. Later, Hope broke down and ran into Steph's arms for comfort. Stephanie suggested that she focus on herself and accept the truth about Brooke.... Oliver entered the house and encountered Taylor. She asked him if he understood what Hope was trying to do by acting out his tryst with Brooke. He swore that he didn't know that he'd been with Hope and Taylor believed him. She advised him to give Hope some space.
Bridget confided in Jackie and Owen about Hope and Brooke's issues. Jackie noted that Bridget had forgiven Brooke for sleeping with Deacon, but Bridget wasn't sure that her sister and mom would ever mend their relationship. Bridget added that Hope is now living with Stephanie and wasn't sure it was a good idea. She feared that Hope would get caught in the crossfire between Brooke and Stephanie. Jackie and Owen were confident that Hope was strong like Bridget and would get through everything. Bridget felt her baby kick and wondered if she'd end up like her mother, given that Owen is her baby's daddy. Jackie demanded that Bridget not compare herself to Brooke and reminded Bridget that she adores her. Jackie and Owen were thrilled to feel the baby kick. When Jackie stepped away to take a call, Owen and Bridget debated over whether their baby was a girl or boy. She became depressed when she noted that she never expected to be raising her baby alone. Owen assured her that she'd always have him, even if Nick wouldn't forgive her. Jackie joined them and stated that they're an unconventional family. Bridget was grateful to them for taking her in. Jackie was sure that Bridget would be fine. "I don't think there's anyone else on the planet who could make this work, but we are," Jackie later told Owen. As they kissed, Bridget watched from afar.
Brooke came after Hope, but Stephanie answered the door and slapped her twice — once for Hope and once for Bridget. She demanded that Brooke never come by again.
