'Bachelor Pad' Contestants Have Hurt Feelings After Being Put to the Test
After eliminating Jonathan Novack (the weatherman) and Gia Allemand on last week's "Bachelor Pad," this week the action kicked off with the bachelors and bachelorettes confronting the issues that were making it difficult for them to get along. Wes Hayden and David Good went at it hot and heavy, which left both men determined to get the women to vote the other one out.
Then the competitors were asked to fill out a questionnaire, which asked them to rate the others in the house. The next morning, after the votes were tallied, the bachelors and bachelorettes were put to the test and asked to guess how the majority voted.
Here are some sample questions and answers: Who do most of you believe is going to win? Answer: Kipytn Locke. Who is your biggest enemy? Answer: Krisily Kennedy. Who is the most shallow? Answer: Elizabeth Kitt. Who is the dumbest? Answer: Gwen Gioia. Who is the biggest jerk? Answer: Wes. Who do you think has the worst boob job? Answer: Elizabeth.
Tenley Molzahn answered four questions right first, so she won for the women; Jesse Beck won for the guys.
"I know how sensitive women can be and this competition did the most damage to the women," Wes said.
Gwen went to console Natalie Getz, who was in tears because she had been the correct answer to the question: Who will always be a bridesmaid, never a bride?
Then Jesse Kovacs, who was reportedly dating Elizabeth before "Bachelor Pad" began, goes to comfort her. He tells her, "They had to put an answer down. No one thinks you are shallow. There are probably a lot of girls here who are jealous of you, so their envy makes you an obvious choice."
Then it was time for the date cards. Tenley got an island date and no surprise, she picked Kiptyn, who she had reportedly started seeing before "Bachelor Pad," to be her date. The limo takes them to a helicopter, which flies them to Catalina, where they went zip lining and spent a romantic evening. Kiptyn admitted he had been keeping Tenley at arm's length because he wants to win the $250,000. But when they get the invitation to the Fantasy Suite, they decide to spend the night together, instead of in separate rooms.
Back at the house, Wes plots with the others to try to break up the couples: Tenley and Kiptyn and Elizabeth and Kovacs.
But before that happens, Jesse B. gets his date card, which just says, "The sky's the limit." He decides to take Peyton Wright, who he had fun with the week before at the racetrack and in the Fantasy Suite.
The limo takes Jesse B. and Peyton to the airport, where they are flown in a prop plane and then spend a romantic night in a hangar that has been decorated. But things take a turn for the worse, when Jesse B. burps and messes with Petyon. Based on his behavior, Peyton decides she is sliding more into the friendship zone than the romantic zone, so when the card comes inviting them into the Fantasy suite, Peyton turns Jesse B. down.
Then it is time to return to the "Bachelor Pad" and vote. The women voted first, and while they were doing so, negotiations were hot and heavy among the men. In the end, the two who received the most votes and were ousted were Wes and Krisily.
"Bachelor Pad" airs Monday nights at 8 p.m. on ABC.
