GENERAL HOSPITAL RECAPS

At the hospital, Warren shot Mac and Ethan, then aimed his gun at Kristina and Michael. Kristine sobbed as another shot was fired. Meanwhile, Carly heard the gunshots and freaked out, but Patrick tried to keep her calm. She wanted to check on Michael, but Patrick didn't want her to put herself in danger. She insisted on going, so Patrick came with her.... Mac shot Warren and then collapsed. Michael held a sobbing Kristina. Patrick, Matt and Steven arrived and tended to the victims, but Maya just cowered in the corner. Steve asked Maya to call for help, but she couldn't move. Instead, Steve had Michael rush to the ER to get backup. Carly promised Kristina that she'd take care of her. Warren muttered to Kris that this was her fault, then died. Kristina panicked when things didn't look good for Ethan. Michael returned and Carly happily embraced her son.



Also in the hospital, Lucky, Maxie and Nikolas watched, surprised, as Franco's face appeared on the monitor. Franco cackled about Elizabeth and Nikolas's missing baby.... Jason and Dante attended Franco's exhibit in L.A. and searched for the psycho artist. Franco appeared on a large screen and welcomed Jason. The crowd was impressed. "What you see is most definitely not what you get," Franco promised. Scenes of Jason and Dante were then projected on the screen; Franco watched them from above and laughed. Jason saw the singer whom Franco had arranged to perform at Jake's and asked where Franco was. "Waiting for you to find him," the singer replied.

Maxie stopped by Shirley's room and found an upset Liz standing by the deceased woman's bed. The young women agreed that Shirley had been a special person. Maxie informed Liz that Franco took her baby. Lucky and Nik wondered what Aiden's connection was to Jason; Nikolas noted that Aiden's hospital ID ended with 66, Franco's favorite number. Liz joined Nik and Lucky as Franco blathered on about how the baby is a key component to his show. Lucky urged the parents to stay calm so they could determine what Franco was up to. Nikolas suggested that Liz stay with Shirley while they searched and Liz shared that her friend had died.... At the show, Franco grabbed a woman and held her at gunpoint just as Jason found him. Franco asked Jason if he wanted to watch him take a life or help him save one. Jason wanted to go somewhere else to talk and the crowd booed him. Franco taunted him about Michael and pointed to the screen, where Michael and Carter's faces were now projected. Franco ran off, with Jason and Dante in pursuit. Franco waved to them from the upper level.

Maxie came upon the scene of the shooting and was devastated to see that Mac had been injured..... Carly led Kristina and Michael away from the bloodshed. Kris blamed herself for the incident, but Carly and Michael assured her that none of it was her fault..... Steven and the rest of the team prepped Mac and Ethan for surgery. Maxie asked Steven if he'd save Mac; he and Matt promised to do their best. Patrick also vowed to do his best to save Mac for Robin.... Later, Maxie and Robin kept each other company as they waited for word on Mac's condition. Maxie regretted being so selfish when it came to Mac. Robin also felt badly that she hasn't seen Mac a lot lately.

Lucky called Dante and told him about Franco taking the baby. He implored Dante to keep Jason from killing Franco so they could find the tot. After, Dante was surprised to see Lulu at the exhibit. Lulu wanted to protect him.... Jason entered the building where Franco was and shot at the artist. "Art equals life and you're my inspiration," Franco told him. Jason vowed to kill him. Franco replied that he and Jason are connected and the men fired shots at each other.... Lucky, Nikolas and Liz ran around the hospital, desperately searching for Aiden..... At the show, a drag queen performed a number while Jason continued to chase after Franco. Franco ran to the top of the building and shouted, "Don't kill me, I know where the baby is!" and then fell over the landing onto the ground. The crowd screamed as they eyed his lifeless body.
