Betty Ford Fires Employee Who Accused Lindsay Lohan
The Betty Ford Center fired an employee who claimed that Lindsay Lohan attacked her at rehab.
The rehab facility told the Associated Press that the female staffer was fired for giving press interviews and "disclosing a privileged document," thus breaching patient confidentiality.
Lohan is being investigated by police after she allegedly got into a fight with the staff member in question at Betty Ford, where she's currently residing.
Riverside County Sheriff's Department tells ET that officers responded to the facility on December 12th at 1:03 a.m. and that they conducted a battery investigation for an incident involving Lohan and the staffer.
Lohan's attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley, told ET that her client called 911 after the incident.
The police say the incident is being investigated as a misdemeanor and the victim wants Lohan prosecuted. Because it didn't happen in front of a peace officer, no arrests were made.
