Fox to Launch American Country Awards


Make room in your trophy case, Taylor Swift: Fox is launching a new country awards show.



The American Country Awards will air Dec. 6 live from Las Vegas, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The two-hour telecast will be executive-produced by Bob Bain, who runs the network's Teen Choice Awards. The winners of American Country Awards, as in the Teen Choice Awards, will be determined by fans.

The American Country Awards brings the total number of country awards shows to four, following CBS' Academy of Country Music Awards, ABC's Country Music Awards and CMT's Country Music Television Awards.
