Stefano and Kate were surprised to see people in the manse, sprucing it up for a wedding. EJ told them that he and Sami were marrying that day. They didn't understand the rush. He explained that it's what Sami wanted.
While getting ready, Sami flashed back to seeing Rafe and Nicole kissing. "I'm doing the right thing," she insisted to herself. Will came in and she told him about the nups. He wasn't too happy that the family wasn't going to be there. She asked him to walk her down the aisle. He agreed. Lexie entered the living room, followed by Will with the twins. EJ thanked Will for being a part of it. He said it was no problem and congratulated EJ. Judge Fitzparick came in with Stefano. Sami came downstairs and the ceremony began.
A smiley Nicole woke up to find Rafe there, reading the paper. "I guess our night of snuggling is over?" she asked. He just looked at her with a pointed expression on his face, then held up the telltale CD. "You're busted, Nicole... Game over," he told her. She flipped out and tearily asked for immunity and protection. He promised her to do what he could. Her phone rang: It was EJ. He wanted to make sure she wasn't spinning off the rails in the wake of her breakup with Brady. She insisted she was fine. When they hung up, she turned to Rafe and said, "Let's make a deal." He put on his recorder and she gave her confession. After, he played the CD and heard Stefano say that EJ paid Anna to kidnap Sydney. "That's it!" he exclaimed.
Stephanie had a nightmare of the truth coming out about Chloe's baby. She woke up and called her friend Ian to come over and work his computer magic. Nathan came out into the living room and told her he was going to stay home. She got nervous that he would see Ian, so she suggested he get an X-ray on his elbow. He left. Ian came over and admitted he was uncomfortable about hacking into St. Mary's. Steph insisted it would be fine. Nathan came home unexpectedly and Steph covered that Ian left his flash drive the night before. Nathan said he forgot something, too. It was his phone. After he found it in the couch, he took off. Ian was again nervous to hack, but Steph persuaded him to do it. "Oh, my God," Steph declared when she saw the results.
Daniel woke Chloe with a rose and a kiss for her birthday. He promised to make it her best birthday ever. She was worried because she had to go to St. Mary's with Carly for the paternity test results. Carly showed up at the door, so the women had to think fast to cover in front of Daniel. Carly said they were supposed to get facials, then took off when Daniel got a phone call. When Dan came back in the room, he presented Chloe with the diamond bracelet. She was thrilled. He told her it was the first of many birthday surprises he had for her.
Melanie told Philip about Daniel's planned gathering for Chloe. Philip didn't think it was a good idea; Melanie said it was fine. She added that she didn't think Chloe seemed excited about the baby. Philip said Chloe was probably just worried. Melanie and Philip headed to Daniel and Chloe's bearing cake and a present. Chloe was surprised, indeed. She privately told Philip she was waiting for Carly to call with the test results. Chloe opened the gift, which was a maternity dress. She was touched. Mel said she wanted to be friends and for all of them to be a family. Awkward! Chloe started to cry. Philip jumped in and insisted they were tears of joy, but Melanie and Daniel seemed concerned by the display.
