DAYS OF OUR LIVES RECAPS

In Daniel and Chloe's apartment, a snoopy Steph hid in the closet when the occupants came home. She listened to them discuss Chloe's birthday plans and their plans to tell everyone they were expecting. Daniel got paged to the hospital for an emergency surgery. He asked them to page Melanie so she could observe.


At Maggie's Melanie told Philip that she was worried about Brady, who was drinking again because of Nicole. She then got the page from the hospital and got ready to go. Philip got a call from Chloe, who asked him to come over. Once he got to her place, Chloe admitted she was worried that Steph was suspicious. She then stressed about what would happen if Daniel told everyone that the baby was his and then it turned out to be Philip's. Uh-oh, gulped an eavesdropping Steph. Chloe added that the amnio results would be available the next day — her birthday. They discussed worst-case scenarios of the truth coming out. Philip believed Melanie would go back to Nathan. Steph blanched. A jittery Chloe wanted to leave; Philip took her out. Once they left, Steph came out of the closet and made some calls to get information at St. Mary's, where Chloe had the test. She then rushed over there.
Daniel and Mel went out to eat at the Brady Pub, after the surgery wound up being a false alarm. When she made some catty remarks about Stephanie, he wondered if Mel was jealous that Steph was with Nathan. She insisted she wasn't. She then told Daniel that she had a job interview at St. Mary's that afternoon. He was encouraging. After, Daniel bought Chloe a diamond bracelet.
At the Kiriakis mansion, Brady came in from a swim and poured himself a drink. Victor was not pleased — especially when he realized it was because of Nicole. And that Brady still had feelings for her.
Nicole and Rafe had a drink at the Cheatin' Heart. She believe he was drowning his sorrows because he lost Sami to EJ. He insisted it wasn't true and said he was celebrating that Arianna wasn't going to prison. He took off, but not before cryptically telling Nicole that for once in her life, she should do the right thing. He headed back to work. He was able to recover some of the damaged CD in which EJ said, "I can't believe I did that. I must have been out of my mind." Rafe was determined to find one of the other CDs before Sami married her baby's kidnapper.
Nicole visited Brady at the K manse. She told him she would turn herself into the cops for him because she loves him and wants him back. She then told an elaborate lie about how she got the money, noting that she was fearful to go back to prison. He didn't understand why she didn't say that in the first place. She made an emotional declaration of her love. They kissed.
Sami reflected on her conversation with Rafe. When EJ came into the room, she told him she wanted to set a date for their wedding. He was thrilled and put the ring on her finger to make it official. They discussed tying the knot and their plans. She wanted the real deal. Stefano and Kate came in; EJ revealed to Kate that Sami would be her new daughter-in-law. Kate began to choke. Sami kidded that they wanted Kate to sing "O Promise Me" at the nups. Stefano toasted the happy couple. After, Sami and EJ basked in their love.
