Comedienne, talk show host, and author Chelsea Handler is going to show that video killed the radio star as host of the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards, according to MTV.
She announced on "Chelsea Lately" on Wednesday, “Everyone knows that when you think of rap music and hip-hop you think of 'Chelsea Lately.' And that's why I will be hosting [the show]."
Kanye West, B.o.B., Florence and the Machine, and Justin Bieber are preparing crowd-pleasing numbers. Nominees include Lady Gaga, Eminem, Drake, Usher, and Katy Perry.
