'Bachelor Pad''s Gia Allemand: Nikki Stabbed Us in the Back

Gia Allemand, who made it to the final three in Jake Pavelka's season of "The Bachelor," only made it to the third episode of "Bachelor Pad" before being voted out of the mansion. The professional swimsuit model talks to ET about the backstabbing and lies that led to her demise, but she also feels it is the fact that she had a boyfriend back home that made it impossible for her to go all the way and win the $250,000.

"I did have a boyfriend going into this," she tells ET. "We had gotten back [together] two weeks before and we had been on and off for three years. I went into this trying to be faithful to him and to make friends and get close to everyone as much as I could."
It was the very fact that she did have a boyfriend that made Gia pull out of this week's kissing challenge, which if she had won, could have earned her a red rose and kept her safe from elimination. But halfway through the competition, she told host Chris Harrison that she couldn't finish and went to her bunk bed and cried.
"I knew the guys would respect [that I had a boyfriend} and wouldn't go to make out with me, but when I went and saw what was going on … the way the girls were kissing the guys, I was, 'I am not going to kiss like that. There is no point [to] me even kissing a guy, if I am going to kiss him on the cheek, or give him a little peck on the lips. There is no point doing this to hurt my boyfriend. I might as well back out with dignity,'" Gia recalls.
Gia feels that part of her downfall was also the fact that she did not play her cards close to the vest, but was upfront with everyone about how she was voting. For example, she had previously told Kiptyn Locke that she had planned to vote him out, but last night, she needed him to save her.
"The difference between Kiptyn and I is … I just say it how it is," Gia says. "Watching last night's episode and him saying, 'I just lied to Peyton,' turned me off a little bit. I play my cards out. I show my cards to everyone. I wear everything on my sleeve. It is what it is. I have nothing to hide. That was such a downfall for me."
But Gia herself did make a vow she didn't keep. Last week, she had promised the group of "outsider" gals that when she went on her date, she would give the red rose to Craig M. to keep him safe and the outsiders' alliance strong, but when push came to shove, she gave the rose to Wes because she was very fond of him.
She defends herself by saying that she had another plan in mind to keep Craig safe, but that it was Nikki Kappke, who changed her vote and was responsible for Craig going home.
"I thought, 'I can't let Wes get voted off when he is the reason I am standing here,'" she says. "I went on my instincts, but I wouldn't have done it if there wasn't a way to keep Craig safe. I told him, 'You are going to be safe. This is what I plan on doing.' I gave him a reason. He got shut down at the rose ceremony when Nikki went back on her vote. There was nothing else I could do to keep him safe and I was crushed."
So the question on everyone's mind is: Wow did Gia's boyfriend react to her stay in the "Bachelor Pad"? But she isn't talking. She says she will reveal at the finale whether or not they are still together.
That said, she adds that she believes that Kiptyn, who she also called "the biggest liar," will be the winner.
"Bachelor Pad" airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
