AS THE WORLD TURNS RECAPS

At Paul and Emily's, Gwen assured Will that Iris wasn't staying with them, but she wanted to give her mother a chance to prove herself. Emily walked in wearing the bracelet that was found at the lingerie shop, which infuriated

Will. He and Gwen went to the other room and Emily told Paul that Will and Gwen are still suspicious of her. Paul urged his wife to stop being so negative....Gwen decided to "let" Hallie go into Paul and Emily's bedroom to see if Em were hiding anything. Emily soon found them digging through her stuff and demanded to know what they were doing. Will explained that Hallie had wandered in there, but Emily didn't believe it. Again, she insisted that she didn't kidnap Barbara and an argument ensued. Emily took her room apart so she could prove that she didn't have anything suspicious in it. Paul joined them and asked what the fighting was about. Will admitted that they'd broke into the bedroom. Emily screamed that she's sick of being treated like she's guilty when she didn't do anything; Paul tried to calm her down.
At the Lakeview, Henry regarded the lipstick print on the napkin that they found and was convinced that Barbara had been there. The maid agreed that she saw a woman who could've been Barbara leave the room. Katie and Henry were determined to figure out who the person was and asked Lisa if she knew anything. Lisa asked why Henry wed Vienna and he explained that he'd been duped into the marriage. Lisa looked through the security camera footage and saw a woman who looked a lot like Barbara on the screen. Henry eyed the footage more carefully and determined that it wasn't Barbara because she didn't have her "swish" when she walked. He was certain that someone was trying to look like Barbara and holding Babs prisoner.
At the warehouse, Barbara was shocked when Iris entered and revealed that she was the one who'd locked her in there. Iris stated that Babs owes her and demanded the passwords to Barbara's bank accounts. Barbara warned her that people are searching for her, but Iris replied that they all think she's dead. She promised to let everyone know that Barbara is okay when Barbara gives her what she wants. Babs begged her to let her loved ones know that she's not dead. Iris agreed and had her write a note that she's fine and just needs time alone. Instead, she wrote, "I'm being held against my will," which Iris dumped. After Iris left, Barbara cried to the clown and pleaded for Henry to find her and rescue her. Iris sent "Barbara's" note to Paul and Emily.
Paul called Henry and Katie over and showed him the note that they received from Barbara, saying that she needed time alone. Paul was sure that it was from his mother and that she'd been playing them, but Henry thought that there was more to the story. Henry noted that Babs is usually more verbose and speculated that she'd been forced to write it by whoever was holding her hostage. He told them about seeing the woman on the security footage. Henry and Katie left and Will and Gwen apologized to Emily. They planned to leave the next morning. Gwen went for a walk to clear her head, while Paul helped Em clean their bedroom. She felt badly for losing her temper, but Paul understood. She got why Gwen and Will were angry, as well. Paul promised that if Barbara comes back, he won't let her hurt Emily. Em feared that Babs would hurt Eliza. Paul implored Emily not to provoke his mom; she reminded him how important their family is. He promised to put Emily and Eliza first. Emily asked him to stop worrying about his mom and to focus on them. Paul blamed Henry for Babs running off, but Emily defended him. She implored Paul to stop talking about Barbara for the rest of the evening. Paul agreed and reminded Em that he loves her.
Gwen went to Old Town and found Iris hanging posters of Barbara. Gwen appreciated her trying to help, but shared that they'd heard from Barbara. Iris was pleased to hear that she was okay and credited her “power of positive thinking" book. Iris fell to her knees and thanked the book; Gwen thought that she was getting carried away and pleaded with her not to make a scene. She suggested that she and her mom get a cup of coffee instead and took her to Al's. Iris was glad that she and Gwen were bonding. Gwen was proud of her mom for making some changes. Iris hoped that they could spend more time together, but Gwen shared that she and Will are going home soon. Will joined them and Iris called Barbara selfish for not sending his family the note earlier. Gwen took him aside and suggested that they stay in town for a few more days in case Barbara returned — and so she could spend more time with Iris. Iris was thrilled.
Barbara refused to believe that Henry would forget about her. She took the warehouse apart trying to find something that would help her escape and found a CB radio. She removed the batteries from a flashlight and put them into the device, then called into it.... Henry and Katie went back to her place. He couldn't understand why Barbara had sent such a terse note and was determined to make her forgive him. Katie feared that he'd get hurt, but he remained hopeful. Katie warned him that Barbara may never forgive him. Henry refused to give up.... Barbara continued to speak into the radio, hoping that someone would respond. She then found a manual for it and learned that there were actually nine channels on it. She went through each channel calling for help. Suddenly, Henry heard Barbara's voice, but Katie didn't hear anything. Katie took Henry out for some air, while Barbara's voice came in clear through the baby monitor in Katie's home.
