On the Los Angeles leg of his comedy tour, Conan O'Brien's audience was greeted by surprise guest Jim Carrey, who came dressed like a superhero.
Carrey, wearing a Superman costume, joined the former "Tonight Show" host onstage to sing a duet of the song "Superman" by Five For Fighting. O'Brien posted a video of the show on his Team Coco Web site with a message that read: "If you missed last night's show, A.) I feel sorry for you, and B.) here's a little taste of the comedy magic that went down."
Both O'Brien and Carrey tweeted about the performance, O'Brien writing: "Jim Carrey rudely interrupted my power ballad last night. How did he get past security in a Superman outfit?" Carrey wrote: "Loved doin' concert with Conan! So many faces wide open like kids! The world was new and worry forgotten by all of us! That's was BOING!!! ;^)"
O'Brien recently announced that he will be returning to TV in November on TBS.
