Bret Michaels remains in intensive care

NEW YORK (AP) — Bret Michaels remains in intensive care after suffering a brain hemorrhage, but further testing is scheduled to help locate the source of the bleeding.

The 47-year-old rocker's website says a report from doctors is expected this week. It didn't say where Michaels is hospitalized.
The post adds: "Please remember Bret is, and always has been, a fighter and survivor and is under the best medical care possible."
Michaels' New York-based publicist, Joann Mignano, confirmed Friday a report on People magazine's website that said the former Poison frontman was rushed to intensive care late Thursday after a severe headache. The report said doctors discovered bleeding at the base of his brain stem.
He is a contestant on NBC's "The Celebrity Apprentice."
